PRESS: AvtoVAZ can launch car subscription programs in 2022

MOSCOW, Jun 18 (PRIME) -- Russian car producer AvtoVAZ is creating programs of car subscriptions that can be launched in 2022, Vedomosti business daily reported on Friday citing a source familiar with the company’s plans.

“AvtoVAZ is designing a project of a car subscription program… A presentation for the project is being prepared for its further approval by the management. I believe that a final decision on the project will be made at the end of 2021,” the source said, as quoted by Vedomosti.

The person added that the programs are focused on large cities.

Car subscriptions envisage car leasing for longer periods as compared to car sharing with the lessor’s responsibility for the cars.
